Children’s Ministry

Kid’s Discovery Church is a time for 3rd–7th graders to grow in knowledge of God’s Word and love for Jesus.

Our "Digging into the Heart of God" children's church (ages 4–8) guides our young ones to dig deep into Scripture to discover what it means to reflect the heart of God in everyday life. The program is focused on teaching the truth about who God is and how, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can honor Him in all our ways. The "Digging into the Heart of God" curriculum, produced by Group, is designed to keep the little ones engaged and combines Bible lessons with songs, crafts, and activities that cement God's truths into their hearts.

We also provide a nursery for infants to 3 years old. There is no instruction in the nursery, but toys and snack are provided.

Part of the way through our worship service, children are dismissed from the service to go with their teachers. Parents who are new are welcome to accompany their children to Kids’ Church or to keep their children with them in the service, if they choose.

Gospel

Our children’s classes use gospel-centered curriculum with scripture, stories, and activities to allow them opportunities to form spiritual friendships with their peers and teachers.

Every children’s volunteer at CCC is required to have been involved in the life of our church for at least six months and to submit and periodically renew a national background check.

What are the first two questions every parent asks their child when they get home from school or church? “What did you learn? Did you have fun?” We believe learning about Jesus should be as fun as possible for all kids when they come through our doors.
