Our Mission

Purpose (Why We Exist)
To glorify God and enjoy Him forever. [Romans 11:36, Psalm 16:11]

Vision (What We Are Seeking to Accomplish)
To bring people from the Central New Jersey area to Jesus Christ, and to help them and their communities become like Jesus Christ. [Colossians 1:28]

Mission (How We Will Achieve Our Vision)

  • Make: To make followers of Jesus Christ by communicating the Gospel to our world in biblical and culturally relevant ways. [Matthew 28:19-20, Romans 1:16-17, 1 Corinthians 9:23]
  • Mature: To build men, women, youth, and children into devoted, mature, and fruitful members of the body of Christ, and equip them to act as His agents in their families, communities, workplaces, and the world. [Ephesians 4:11-13]
  • Minister: To be a church that demonstrates the compassion of Christ by serving people in their physical and spiritual need. [Ephesians 2:10, Matthew 5:16]
  • Multiply: To multiply our effectiveness for the kingdom of God worldwide by actively sending missionaries and sponsoring churches. [Mathew 28:19-20, 2 Timothy 2:2]

Our Values

  • Our church is committed to the truths of the Bible and to the practical application of those truths to life.

  • We strive to effectively communicate the message of Christ in a way that is relevant to the people of our culture and time. In our communication we seek to respect the dignity of the person while maintaining the urgency of the message. We recognize that we are entrusted with the message of the gospel, yet we understand that it is the Spirit who must apply it to hearts.

  • We strive for Biblical excellence in ministry to the glory of God.
    We strive for integrity in all areas of ministry, especially in finances and morals.

  • We believe that the God of the Bible works in and through prayer.
    Therefore we emphasize prayer and make it a priority in our lives and ministry.

  • Our church strives to find a balance between traditional and contemporary styles of worship. We place an emphasis on creativity and variety in worship and ministry.

  • We emphasize the importance of each believer using their spiritual gifts and abilities in significant ministry.

  • Our church strives to be characterized by a courageous faith in God, confident that God can accomplish great things.
